Rosemary Ham Picnic Loaf

large round Italian loaf
leafy green lettuce, thinly sliced
radicchio, thinly sliced
green olives, pitted and sliced
marinated artichoke hearts, chopped

- Cut bread in half horizontally. Hollow out loaf, leaving a 1-inch (2.5 cm) border. Stir the mayonnaise with the pesto. Brush all over the inside of the bread halves.
- Toss the lettuce with the radicchio; spread over the bottom half. Top with tomatoes, olives, artichoke hearts, provolone and ham. Cap with remaining half. Wrap tightly in plastic wrap and press down on sandwich. Chill in the refrigerator for 1 to 2 hours. Cut into 6 wedges.
